During a rally in Nevada on Sunday, Former President Trump criticized President Biden’s latest executive action on the U.S. southern border, stating that it was “bulls—“.
During a speech in Las Vegas, Trump accused Biden of promoting human trafficking and drug dealers through his executive action on the border. He went on to describe the action as “pro-invasion.”
Amidst the chants of “bulls—” from the crowd, Trump expressed his disapproval of the signed document by stating that it was weak, ineffective, and simply not worth it.
In a recent move, Biden unveiled an executive action concerning asylum-seekers at the southern border of the United States. The new measures allow for most asylum-seekers to be denied entry at the border, with a few exceptions, when the seven-day average of border crossings exceeds 2,500 between the ports of entry.
According to Biden, some Republicans in Congress turned their backs on addressing the issue at hand. Their decision was motivated by Donald Trump’s directive to use the issue as a means of attacking Biden rather than finding a solution. Biden deemed this move as cynical and a disservice to the American people who are counting on their leaders to fix the border issue, not weaponize it.
Trump dismissed Biden’s efforts as “late” and “meaningless,” claiming it was nothing more than a “PR ploy.”
