Former President Trump slammed the teleprompter operators for the technical difficulties he said he was experiencing during his Sunday rally in Las Vegas.
“I don’t have teleprompters, and I haven’t since the beginning,” Trump told a gathering of fans assembled in the blazing heat to demonstrate their support.
I spend a significant amount of money on telepI estimate that about 20% of the time, these devices malfunction. y don’t function. The item is waving about. They are unable to tighten the knot even slightly. “I’m attempting to observe,” he interrupted himself. “So everybody is in this together.” Just a mess.”
Trump voiced dissatisfaction with the teleprompter glitches several times during the address.
At one point, Trump stated that he would not pay for teleprompter services because he was dissatisfied with the work.
“He merely asked, ‘Are the teleprompters not working, sir?” Not even a little bit.” Trump stated this, reportedly relaying a brief conversation he had with a member of the team.
“Awesome job! “And then I don’t pay the firm that does it, correct?” Trump stated, ” I ultimately write an article with the title ‘Trump doesn’t pay.'” I do not provide compensation to contractors who perform substandard work. And that is a terrible job. That’s not a good job.” You can’t read a word.”
“Then they will say, ‘Oh, isn’t that terrible? Trump takes advantage of his—” Trump continued to cut himself short. “No. Having a good contractor and subcontractor does not result in faster payment. “But what if I had contractors who did this type of work?” You can have them.”
Trump is referring to previous news in which hundreds of workers and contractors said the former president did not pay them in full.
