Investigators are seeking Dayon Neal, 26, who currently does not have a permanent residence, in connection to the tragic shooting of Daniel Antonio Thomas, aged 37.
In the early hours of May 11, a shooting incident was reported in the parking lot of MGM Resort and Casino in Oxon Hill. The authorities were alerted and an investigation was immediately launched. Tragically, a resident of DC lost their life due to the injuries sustained in the incident. The officers from the MGM Resort and Casino were quick to respond to the call.
Upon receiving a report of a shooting from the casino’s security, detectives rushed to the 100 block of MGM National Avenue. As they reached the scene, they discovered Thomas in the parking lot, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
First responders pronounced him dead after treating him at the scene.
According to investigators, a disagreement between at least two individuals led to the tragic shooting that resulted in a fatality. Neal was subsequently identified as a potential suspect in the case.
An arrest warrant has been issued against him, accusing him of committing first-degree murder, second-degree murder, and other related crimes.
As the investigation into Neal’s whereabouts continues, authorities have issued a reward for any information that could lead to his arrest.
