A lucky California woman visited a convenience store she had frequented for her entire life in search of an energy drink. To her surprise, she left with much more than just a beverage – she won a whopping $1 million lottery prize.
According to officials from the California Lottery, Alexandria Rodriguez, a resident of Whittier, recently shared a heartwarming story about visiting Helen’s Market on Santa Fe Springs. She revealed that the store had been a part of her life since childhood when she used to ride her bike there. Alexandria had stopped by the store to purchase an energy drink when she spoke about her experience.
Rodriguez made the decision to purchase an Xtreme Multiplier scratch-off ticket while inside the store.
Rodriguez shared that the design of the product caught her attention with its catchy appearance and pleasing colors. She expressed her decision to choose that particular product, saying, “Eh, just give me that one.” Interestingly, she ended up selecting the product with her lucky number.
Fortune smiled upon the holder of ticket number 22, as it proved to be the lucky winner of a whopping $1 million.
Rodriguez proudly declared, “My number is 22, the day I was born. This money will be a huge help for many things. I am excited to see the positive changes that one million dollars will bring.”
