FAMILY YMCA OF EMPORIA-GREENSVILLE TO HOST FOURTH ANNUAL FALL 5K FUN RUN/ WALK
The Family YMCA of Emporia-Greensville will host the Fourth Annual Fall 5K/10K Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, September 25, 2010. The race will begin at 8:00 AM in the YMCA parking lot, and is open to all ages. Registration cost is $20 per person and everyone that pre-registers by September 16, 2010, will receive a free t-shirt. Fees increase to $25 per person after September 16, 2010. Following a course of paved roads, the 5K/10K will feature a water station and post-race refreshments. For more information, please contact Lance Futrell at (434) 348-9622.

Fundraiser is for the "Kids and Cops" program in Emporia, Va. and Greensville County. We will meet at the "Huddle House" restaurant located at Simmons Truck Terminal on 301 South. This will be Exit 8 off of I-95. Get there early if you want to eat breakfast, etc. Ride will start at 10:30 AM and we will ride to Rocky Mt.,NC. and stop at a location for lunch, etc. Cost is minimum of $10 per person with all proceeds being donated to the "Kids and Cops" program to take under-privileged kids Christmas shopping! Thanks to all in advance for your support of this great cause. Put this date on your calendar!
